About Business Incubator
Business Incubator Zrenjanin BIZ was founded with the intent to support the entrepreneurial process of companies involved in information technologies and encourage their innovation to the level of success. Only entrepreneurs with feasible IT projects, can become the tenants of Incubator, which will provide them with more models of service, support and resources. BIZ Incubator with a formal organizational environment management, organized system of planning, monitoring and development of tenants, measurement system performance, organize training and education, including assistance in preparing a business plan, marketing, market research, assistance in developing technical and other documentation and obtaining appropriate certificate.
With the presence of numerous domestic and foreign guests on the ninth floor of the business center “Water Tower” that dominates highriser Zrenjanin, was officially opened in mid-November 2007, the first business incubators in Vojvodina, which is unique in Serbia and that is oriented to support entrepreneurs in the field of information technology. The incubator is a facility that consists of small business units and provides space and supportive environment for entrepreneurs who are fledgling company and start working. The BIZ will begin its work of four newly formed companies that were previously announced tender for business ideas in the field of information technology rated as the best. Time they acquired the status of tenants in the incubator, and they will be joined by a fifth, but “experienced” the company, the Italian foreign investor, who is engaged in software development. During the incubator housing tenants will have various forms of support such as training, education, business advice, legal and accounting advice. In addition, tenants will receive part of the office equipment and materials, which means significantly less operating costs and increase students chances for survival in the market.
The aim of the provincial government to expand the incubator – said at the opening of the incubator Bojan Pajtić, President of AP Vojvodina Executive Council, when he pointed out that through the incubator to employ staff trained in information technology, but that will create a database to support small and medium enterprises. A Zrenjanin Mayor Goran Knezevic said that the incubator is the realization of sustainable development strategy of the municipality and provides that the expansion of two floors which will get the conditions for employment of twenty or more girls and boys.
